1. Information we collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you provide it, your name and province. When you make a purchase, Stripe (our payment processor) collects your payment details directly — we never see or store your full card number. We also store data about your exam attempts and scores so you can track your progress.
2. How we use it
We use your information to provide the service (create your account, grant access to exams you've purchased, show your progress and history), process payments, respond to support requests, and communicate with you about your account or purchases.
3. Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that run InstruReady: Stripe (payment processing) and Supabase (our database and authentication provider). We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers.
4. Cookies
We use cookies only to keep you signed in (authentication/session cookies). We don't currently use advertising or tracking cookies.
5. How we protect your information
Your data is stored with Supabase, encrypted in transit and at rest. Passwords are hashed and never stored or visible to us in plain text.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing support@instruready.com.
7. Children's privacy
InstruReady is intended for adult apprentices and tradespeople and is not directed at children.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
